Copper cable
Draka Comteq Telecom companies have a long history in producing copper cables. Production has kept up with technological developments. This means Draka can supply state-of-the-art cables, whatever the application, e.g. aerial cables, direct-buried and underwater cables, duct and direct-buried cables and indoor/outdoor cables.

Rail specialty cable
Draka Comteq Telecom supplies special products for rail system applications. The group develops, designs and produces advanced transmission systems and signalling cables.

Optical fibre cable (OFC)
The OFC Product Group produces all types of optical cables and associated solutions for indoor and outdoor applications, from long-distance to Fibre-To-The-Home (FTTH) networks. The portfolio covers a comprehensive range of world-class products, with top-quality fibres (multimode, low-water-peak single-mode and Utra / TeraLight fibres) from Draka’s Fibre Division providing the answer to any kind of problem faced by the customers. Draka Comteq Telecom also offers flexible optical fibre cable systems such as the JET net® concept.

Optical power ground wire (OPGW) and overhead line applications
As world market leader, Draka Comteq Telecom is a major partner for utilities, telecom operators and contractors worldwide. Tailored to the precise requirements of Draka’s partners, Draka Comteq Telecom delivers state-of-the-art, and cost-effective solutions. Countering mechanical and thermal loads as well as corrosion and ageing effects, Draka’s cable designs offer the highest possible protection of fibres in aerial applications. Besides OPGW, Draka Comteq Telecom supplies optical aerial cables of all other types, such as ADSS, MASS and OPCC (Optical Phase Conductor Cable) and associated accessories. Other special-application cables and systems in Draka’s product range are overhead line monitoring devices and sensor cables for exploration projects.
